After having a weird dream, I finally decided to start working on Crossbone. I bought this kit last year I think, at Anime Expo’s Gundam Booth. I’ve been really lazy when it comes to building for quite some time now. I think it if it wasnt for my other friend’s week long postings of gundam on my plurk line, I wouldnt have the initiative to resume working. So far, I’ve had the limited version MSZ- 006-3 Zeta Gundam done, drooled over the cuteness of SD Sinanju and LOL-ed at the awkwardness of SD RX-0 Unicorn’s transformation. I tried to work on my MK-II 30th Anniversary version, but I got turned off (again) after some boo-boo.
Crossbone Full Cloth :WIP
Adding detail to his body was an easy task until…
I reached the shallow grooves on the mouth guards. I raegquite after some time and settled with this.
He has a lot of loose parts, like the arm guards and the white thingies on the back of his feet. The feet parts locked in as soon as I snapped all of the ensemble together, but I’m still raging at the arm guard parts. I’m thinking of gluing it.
MSZ -006-3 Zeta Gundam Karaba Assault Use Prototype AKA White Unicorn (not RX-0 Unicorn )
I’m also quite disturbed at the uber long ass bazooka Zeta Karaba has. It’s longer than itself. I wonder how does s/he carry it during missions?
Quebley MK-II: COMPLETED
Quebley MK-II managed to pull the girly yet evil look. It’s currently one of my faves, next to Sinanju. She’s also one of the easiest build ever, as most of her parts were in large chunks. Her decals are pain in the ass though. One of my favorite parts of this unit is her hands. They look so evil.
Come to the darrrrk siiiiiideeee~~~

Imagine MFW when I saw this picture…
I’ve been LSS-ing over this song for quite sometime now… and since its an LSS, the only way to cure it is to sing it out loudly. Well, Audacity and Blogger dont go together that much so I had to resort to vocaroo…resulting in ear shattering product.

So I had a friend come over yesterday to help me out with Dead Space. To be more specific, more like a cheerer. Though he really didnt do any cheering, as he was more focused on building his SD Sinanju while listening to me cuss at the necromorphs, hoping that somehow it’ll inflict damage to them and my dog flirting and cuddling with him. My friend told me that there’s really nothing to be afraid of, that I should be more afraid of the living.
Uhmm… I am running for dear life from reanimated DEAD people turned monsters, right?
After some running, needless hiding and procrastinating, I managed to man up and faced these ugly sons of alienshit. It was then, we realized that I’m actually a good shot. I guess all that sniping from Mass Effect finally paid off. I was also getting less paranoid over the shitscares, but I was still paranoid of the sounds and the dark. What add more insult to this, is that I’m already using a visual walkthrough to ease my suffering, but it seems to do little of what I hoped for it to do.
After clearing 1 stage, I passed the controller to my friend. He was fast, but he keeps missing some items, and save points so I had to rant about that too. While he did almost 80% of stage 3, I managed to hold my own elegantly against 5 slashers and a leaper in a cramped room with no damage at all. But in real life, the fibers on my arms were tinglling in fear and adrenaline rush. I hate that feeling.
We managed to finish this round really fast, with me still occasionally screaming and cussing and a little flinching.
Though, later that night, I woke up from weird dreams of being chased by necromorphs in a underground train station and I was fending off my own with a chainsaw…Too much Dead Space, I guess….

I managed to finish 1 chapter of Dead Space earlier. I guess I can only play “fine” during daytime. As soon as it got a little dark, I “lost” interest in playing. However, it sparked an interest in me, so I’ve been doing some in depth research about it, and currently watching Dead Space: Downfall, it’s animated movie counterpart.
Speaking of movies, Halo had a series of OAVs, Dead Space had Downfall, how come my Mass Effect have no movie to its name? Considering how awesome this trilogy (ME 3 is coming out next year! Already set my dibs on the collector’s item piece :3 ), how come it has yet to gain an animated or much better a live action movie? ;__;
On a completely, but maybe related matter, I’m thinking of posting some Cooking tutorials to prove that I do cook, and they’re edible and tasty. People at work and sometimes, friends would often doubt my cooking prowess and would often insist that it’s my mom’s cooking, not mine.
Tch.
Sorry, I dont entirely fall into the useless category.
